Akbari group was established by Sheikh Siraj-ud-Din Ahmed and his son Sheikh Fazal Elahi Akbar in 1948, and since then it has become a trusted name for quality chemicals in Pakistan. Heritage

Lahore is undoubtedly the heart of Pakistan and in the heart of Lahore; Akbari Mandi - Akbari Stores is based. We are a trusted source of industrial chemicals in Pakistan, for almost seven decades. 

In 1948 Sheiykh Siraj-u-Din Ahmad along with his son Sheikh Fazal Elahi Akbar laid the foundations of the Akbari Group of Companies.It was a humble beginning; catering only the materials related to the textile and soap industries. The store was located in the vicinity of the Akbari Gate in the heart of the business hub of Lahore was thus named Akbari Stores. The present building that houses the head office and the main sales outlet is not far from this historic place. 

The company has come a long way since; growing, expanding and diversifying along the way. For a family owned business it has a very rich heritage. The fourth generation is now part of the management and is well aware of its responsibilities; the responsibility of taking great care of the 'goodwill' that we have inherited through our service to the industry, the responsibility of playing the leadership role, the responsibility of pioneering ventures and the responsibility of sharing knowledge, expertise and technical know-how are all chore characteristics of our team.

Akbari Paper Store

Akbari Paper Store was established in 1990 by Sheikh Muhammad Ahmed Raza. It is an integral part of Akbari Group. Its establishment brought diversification to the business and within a few years it made Akbari Group a trusted name for imported paper. With over 20 years of imported paper trading, Akbari Paper Store has developed a commendable repute among its clientele for providing a variety of quality imported paper & board products.

Akbari Agricare Industries

Akbari Shehenshah™ (SSP) is the flagship brand of Akbari Agricare Industries. Branded Single Super Phosphate was launched while keeping in mind the huge gap between supply and demand of agricultural food items. Akbari Shehenshah has proven to provide better yield per acre to farmers and is playing its part to counter the population explosion induced food shortfall in Pakistan.

Akbari Public School (trust)

Siraj House Society (trust) was established in 1979 by Sheikh Fazal Elahi Akbar (late), with an objective to serve the society in particular and the nation in general. A free dispensary is working since 1980 in the premises of Siraj House Society located in Shad Bagh, Lahore. Realizing the need of an institution that would provide quality education for children of the area, Siraj House Society (trust) embarked on a project of establishing a higher secondary school. A purpose built campus with 22 classrooms, science labs, computer lab, library, and an administration block was completed in 2004.

Over the past few years, the school has become reputable as the only school in the area with a purpose built campus imparting quality of education against a very nominal fee. Today, the school has 36 classrooms and separate blocks for boys and girls. The current strength of the school is 900 students and it has achieved excellent results in Punjab Board exams. More than 90% of the students have scored A grade in Primary, Middle and Matric Board exams. Akbari Public School's alumni is represented at Lahore's top colleges such as GC University, FC College, Punjab College and Islamia College - Civil Lines.

Akbari Public School also focuses on character building and personality development by providing students exposure to co-curricular and extra-curricular activities such as annual sports gala, fun fair, science exhibition, debating competitions etc.
